There is quite a large difference in the percentage of men and women who snore.
This difference is partly due to differences in the size of a man's neck, which is usually caused by being overweight.
Men tend to have a larger neck than women. The greater the person's neck then more likely to snore.
Women who snore tend to be fatter and shorter than women who do not snore.
Women typically snore through the nose while men snoring through the nose and mouth.
Women do not snore as much as men because women have smaller necks and larger airways.
Women also have a smaller uvula which makes them less likely to snore.
Tonsils and polyps problems become major contributors to the problem of snoring in children. Studies show at least six percent of children snore.
Studies show that 70 percent of people who mention sleep problems, only about ten percent of those who seek further assistance.
Snoring is often regarded as the first sign of a sleep disorder. Sleep apnea is the most significant problems of those who snore.
Of those who suffer from sleep apnea, 70 percent reported having had at least one car accident.
Recent studies have shown that vehicle accidents are caused by sleep disturbance than drunk driving.

A bit disagree with the article - from my experience there is no difference between snoring men or women. It is a serious problem in both cases and must be treated properly. In some cases, it is enough with alteration of some habits (eating, exercising etc), in some natural remedies can help... For me all this did not help, was about to try the last possible solution - a surgery - but a friend of my mom suggested to give anti-snoring mouthpiece a chance. Due to a low price and bunch of reviews like this one I went for Zquiet mouthpiece. Solved my snoring issue in the third night!
